Field Service Coordinator
Balboa Art Conservation Center (BACC)

The Field Service Office (FSO) of the Balboa Art Conservation Center
(BACC) seeks a full-time Coordinator.  The two year old Field
Service Office is part of the regional conservation center located
in Balboa Park, San Diego.  The Field Service Office is funded by
the National Endowment for the Humanities and serves museums and
historical societies in four western states:  California, Arizona,
Washington, and Oregon.

The position requires a dynamic organizer to shape and maintain
project management systems.  The Coordinator must possess strong
written/verbal communication skills and experience with computer
systems/data bases.  The Coordinator assists and participates in
organizing workshops and meetings, responding to queries, arranging
site visits, and sending out the schedule of FSO events to
newsletters and organizations.

A minimum education level of BA is required and experience in a
cultural institution containing collections is preferred.

The post can be filled beginning June 15, 2003.
