Salaries

For those following the Salaries thread, there was apparently a
one-day conference in London this past February, convened after a
survey was conducted on the rates of pay for junior personnel in
museums. The most recent issue of the UKIC Grapevine (May 2003,
Issue 84) contains a full review of this meeting, plus a personal
response by a junior conservator. Our British colleagues are facing
similar problems.
