An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Collections Care Team
at English Heritage <URL:http://www.english-heritage.org.uk>. The
team is based at the Savile Row headquarters and is responsible for
guiding the long-term care of collections displayed in historic
properties through the delivery of effective standards, training and
research. The success of the team is based on its ability to involve
all stakeholders, across many disciplines, to develop and deliver
sustainable collection care solutions.

Your role would be to develop and manage the team's national
environmental management programme and collection care research
strategy. We are looking for a person with both conservation science
and environmental management experience, who enjoys working with a
wide range of people. You will be required to deliver on a number of
different fronts including the publication of environmental
management standards, development of research projects and external
partners, delivery of training courses/tools and the maintenance of
the current environmental monitoring programme. Experience of
working in the historic property context would be an advantage.
