New technologies for conservation of artifacts damaged in Iraq

I agree, and would like to add the comment that being asked to write
a story about new conservation technologies sounds as if you're
being asked to reassure the public that there is a magic fix for the
damage done.  There is no magic fix.  The damage is horrific and the
loss is heartbreaking.
