In the materials handling sector these units are referred to as wire
caster trucks. One manufacturer is Nexel Industries Inc. They can
also be purchased as free standing shelving units which could be
mounted on mobile bases running on tracks. If a more robust
installation is required for very heavy objects, pallet racking
systems have a shelf option referred to as wire mesh decking. A
major supplier of wire mesh decking is

    NHD Group Ltd.
