The Art Gallery of Western Australia has occupied a central place in
the cultural life of the State  for more than a century. Its aim is
to develop and present the best public art collection in the State
and the pre-eminent collection of Western Australian Art

Job Description: The Objects Conservator contributes to the
effective preservation and maintenance of objects in the Art
Gallery's Collection and works of art in the Gallery's care. To
participate in the development of self managed teams and promote and
practice the Art Gallery of Western Australia's organisational
values.

Selection Criteria: Tertiary qualification in conservation of
cultural materials with a speciality in objects conservation or
practical equivalent experience working in the heritage industry
providing eligibility for professional membership of the Australian
Institute of Conservation of Cultural Materials.
