Workshop on patination

The Virginia Conservation Association is presenting a one-day
workshop "Patination of Non-Ferrous Metals," taught by Andrew Baxter
of Bronze et al Fine Art Conservation, 4545 Croatan Rd. Richmond, VA
23235 on Friday, March 14, 2003, 8:30 AM- 5 PM. This workshop will
include a slide presentation on historic patinas and conservation
treatments of sculpture.  Demonstrations of hot and cold techniques
will follow the slide presentation, showing the use of numerous
formulas to create a wide variety of colored effects. Registration:
