Panoramas

The North Carolina Museum of History has been approached to consider
the acquisition of several large panoramas from the Old Testament and
The Book of Revelations by Arthur Butt. These were used in public
performances in the 1880's The conservation branch head would like
to hear from anyone with actual experience in the cleaning,
stabilization and storage of such large works of art. Has anyone
found a flexible water-based coating that remains clear, does not
affect color and is easily applied with and HVLP turbine spray
system. Your shared research experience would be invaluable and
sincerely appreciated,
