Moulding, Casting and Gap-filling for Glass and Ceramics Brisbane, Australia August 18-22, 2003 August 25-29, 2003 The AICCM Object SIG will be holding a workshop (to be run twice) for mid-career conservators, focusing on repair techniques for glass and ceramics. This 5-day intensive, practical workshop will be tutored by Stephen Koob. The program includes: Cleaning procedures Adhesive selection and removal of old repairs Loss compensation and direct filling Casting and moulding techniques Colouring and tinting fills Finishing techniques Inpainting and coatings for ceramic fills Registration cost, in Australian dollars, is: AICCM member - $600.00 Non-AICCM member - $650.00 Registration will be open from May 12, 2003, and payment is required at the time of registration to secure a position.
