The National Gallery of Victoria has a vacancy for the position of
Conservator of Objects, the middle position of three in the Objects
Conservation section.  The position reports to the Senior
Conservator of Objects. Projects will include conservation
treatments of three-dimensional objects from the NGV collection and
input into the installation of art in the refurbished NGV
International galleries due to open late 2003. The successful
applicant will have a tertiary degree in the conservation of
cultural materials or equivalent.

The position, in Melbourne Australia, is at Victorian Public Service
level 3 with a starting salary of AUS$40,532 per annum plus 9%
employer superannuation and is eligible for annual performance
