Exploring the Future of "Micro" in Micro/Digital Publishing

Please join Todd Bludeau (IDC Publishers) and Fenn Quigley
(Gale/Primary Source) as the Micro/Digital Publishing Discussion
Group continues to explore storage and access issues related to
collections of microform masters held by publishers.  How and where
are masters organized and stored?  What happens to microform masters
in the event a company goes out of business?  Will microform copies
continue to be made available for purchase, or do publishers
envision distributing the contents of microform collections solely
in digital form? All are welcome to attend.  After we hear from our
guest speakers there will be time for questions and discussion.  The
Micro/Digital Publishing Discussion Group is scheduled for
Sunday, January 26, 2003, from 9:30 to 11 am in the Courtyard
by Marriott, Meeting Room 103.
