Composite Arms and Armour
Royal Armouries, Leeds
April 14, 2003

Arms and armour form a significant part of most ethnographic
collections and their composite nature means that they can be
complex artefacts to conserve. The seminar will address issues such
as hazardous objects in museum collections and discuss materials
found in composite weapons and armour such as plastics, textile and
other organic materials.
