Pesticides

I am in full agreement with Rene Teygeler's comments on Integrated
Pest Management and the use of preventive measures for dealing with
insects (Conservation DistList Instance: 16:34 Friday, November 22,
2002).  Having seen some of the distressing health problems
resulting from the use of chemical pesticides in Southeast Asian,
chemical insecticides should be used only as a last resort with all
the appropriate precautions.  More information may be found on IPM
