The National Gallery of Australia has a job vacancy that may be of
interest- details below.  Please note that applicants would need to
be either Australian and New Zealand citizens or be eligible to
become citizens within a short period of time (ie have permanent
resident status).

$47,998 to $55,157 pa

The National Gallery of Australia requires a Preventive Conservator
to provide services in monitoring and interpreting environmental
conditions, advising on materials and standards issues particularly
regarding display and storage and to carry out Integrated Pest
Management responsibilities. This varied and challenging ongoing
position in the Conservation Department is full time and requires
some out of hours work and travel.  We require you to be a qualified
Materials Conservator with appropriate experience working with
collections and displays in a museum setting.

The successful applicant will be subject to a probationary period of
employment and a security check will also apply. Details of the
