We are investigating purchasing additional hygrothermographs for
our facilities, which leads me to ask a few questions.

Right now we have an Isuzu 3-1125 as well as a Weksler
Instruments circular chart recorder (Type 10 T2), which may or
may not work. I have been speaking with a vendor about the
possibility of repairing the two Isuzu recorders that we have
and purchasing two new Isuzu units (Model #3-3125). We have been
quoted $890 ($CAN) each for the Isuzu units. If our current
units can not be repaired, we will be purchasing four new
    hygrothermographs.

Does anyone now if there are any Canadian distributors for
Weksler (preferably in Ontario)? Would the quality of Weksler's
hygrothermographs be comparable, superior, or inferior to that
of Isuzu's? Would the prices be similar?

Also, the vendor is selling a datalogger manufactured by Onset.
The model is the HOBO LCD Temp/Data Logging System. Apparently
it also has an analog chart on the inside and it uses the PALM
OS, so one can download information to a PALM compatible unit.
The HOBOs are running for $308 + $155 ($CAN) for the software.

Generally, are dataloggers as dependable as the more traditional
hygrothermographs, or are there more things to breakdown? Are
    they easy to maintain?
