Anabec

I am in the middle of mold mitigation at our college library. We
have hired a company to handle the regular books but I am in charge
of the rare books and collection of Swedish books. The hired company
is using a chemical called "Anabec" to wipe down the regular books.
They said that we could use the same stuff to do the special books.
I didn't think that sounded right, after reading much on an ethyl
alcohol mixture as the best remedy. Has anyone heard of this stuff
"Anabec"? Is it ok? Or can you recommend a better method for
dealing with the special books?
