Portable examination light

We are seeking recommendations/suggestions for a moderately priced
(approximately $500) examination light.  Ideally the light would be
portable for use with traveling exhibitions.  We are familiar with
the Scandles lamps (which are cost prohibitive in this instance) and
would like to find something that is a similar type cool light
source.  If anyone has information about the "QH" Hand held Lamp
made by Focon Scientific Equipment, UK I would appreciate that as
well.  (The contact information I have for Focon does not appear to
be up to date.)
