From: David Harvey <top10denverdave>
Date: Tuesday, September 24, 2002
The 2003 AIC Meeting in Arlington, Virginia is just around the
proverbial corner So, it is time again to put out the call for
submissions for the OSG Meeting.

Creativity in Conservation: What's inside the Envelope? History,
Ideas, and Practice

This year's OSG Program is soliciting abstracts for two sessions on
the Theme: Creativity in Conservation.

We are looking for the novel, inventive, and creative ideas and
practices from the tips and techniques that we all discover in
practical bench work to the larger subjects of dealing with previous
restorations, mass treatments, conservation science, examination,
ethics, documentation, treatment, and storage and exhibition issues.
We also encourage submissions that have utilized conservation
approaches and practices from other specialties adapted to the needs
of an objects conservation problem.

The morning session will consist of 15 minute papers / presentations
on the topic. The afternoon session will be a tips and demonstration
session that will be more informal and interactive.

Anyone interested in submitting a paper or a demonstration can
contact: David Harvey for either session and Tony Sigel for the tips
and presentations session.

Please send a succinct and informative abstract of no more than 300
words by December 5, 2001 to Dave and/or Tony at the following
