Reviews in Conservation is an annual journal published by the
International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic
Works. It aims to provide comprehensive coverage of literature in
key areas of conservation and technical examination. Papers are
welcomed on all disciplines relevant to conservation, including
practical treatment, materials, technical art history, scientific
research, conservation ethics etc.

As a review journal, each paper offers a critical overview of what
is published, surveying the current state of knowledge that exists
within any given field while suggesting directions for future
research. Papers are peer-reviewed and the Editorial Board includes
leading conservators and scientists from around the world.

A list of papers and authors in Issues 1 (2000) and 2 (2001), edited
by Sally Woodcock, is included below. Issue 3 is due to be published
in December 2002.
