Principal Conservation Assistant (Part-Time)

Bodleian Library: Preservation and Conservation
Grade Technical E: Salary range UKP17726 - 19949 (pro rata)

A temporary post--initially for 1 year (part-time:1 day per week)
has arisen in Preservation Services to conserve and protect the
collections of Oxford University Archives. The work will involve the
conservation and preservation of a range of archival material from
the 13th century to the present day.

A degree or equivalent in paper, book or archives conservation is
essential as is a minimum of two years post-graduate experience
working with a relevant collection. A proven interest in early
archive material and historic archive collections is desirable.
