The Canadian Conservation Institute invites you to browse its new
Web site Preserving my Heritage <URL:http://www.preservation.gc.ca>
which was launched on Friday, May 17, 2002.

The new site includes a number of feature sections designed to offer
information to Canadians on the preservation of family treasures.
Dozens of fact sheets in the How to Care For... section provide
practical advice on how to look after items that have been handed
down over the years. In Amazing Facts you will see how creative
conservators and conservation scientists can be in treating
artifacts. Preservation Quest is in interactive game that tests your
general knowledge of conservation and conservation science. The
Before and After Gallery illustrates the magic of conservation by
showing objects before and after treatment. You can also treat
yourself to Virtual Tours of the conservation laboratories at the
Institute, learn about a variety of Careers in Conservation, and
find Preservation Links to related sites.
