Marking photographs

I received a request from a customer of mine, regarding the
possibility to have a good ink with which stamping the back of the
photos. I told him that for conservation it would be better an
embossed stamp, but if at all costs he needs an ink stamp, which ink
could I recommend him? Does a particular ink exists for photographic
conservation?
