Photocopies on Permalife

A colleague told me recently that xerox copies on Permalife will
fade, according to the  Library of Congress.  As a result, she has
now switched to Permadur.  Can anyone confirm or deny this report,
and recommend the best archival bond paper for use in  photocopying
machines?
