There is no definitive information that reports *when* fungal spots
take on the rusty red color and are then fox spots. 23 years is the
only suggestion. Of course it must be reaction rate dictated. Any
way, I would like to collate information about when books develop
fox spots. I would like anyone who has a book with fungal fox spot
to sent me the age of the book; other info re publisher, place would
be nice. I am looking for recent books i.e. 1900 to date. The
fungal fox spot is irregular in shape and found on all pages in all
positions. It is not spots located only at the margin of the pages,
tide lines or frontal pages only. I will rejoice in your
contributions.
