Frames Conservator

3 month contract

The Victoria and Albert Museum wishes to appoint a conservator with
experience of picture frame conservation.   The work will include
the assessment and technical examination of objects and practical
interventive and preventive conservation.  You will be working on
objects that will form part of a major loan exhibition in 2002 and
should have a sound knowledge of all aspects of gilding conservation
with excellent practical skills.  We are looking for an enthusiastic
individual who is capable of working to tight deadlines.
