I suggest that you consult the Art and Architecture Thesaurus (AAT)
maintained by the Getty Research Institute.  It can be found at
<URL:http://www.getty.edu/research/institute/vocabulary/> The AAT is
a comprehensive thesaurus of terms for the description and
cataloguing of art objects, architecture and material culture.
