Workshop on inpainting

From: Eric Pourchot <epourchot>
Date: Wednesday, January 2, 2002
The American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic
Works presents a workshop on "Mastering Inpainting," April 17-20,
2002, at the new Oakland Museum of California Conservation Lab,
Oakland, California. Instructors are James Bernstein, Conservator of
Paintings and Mixed Media and Debra Evans, Conservator of Works on
Paper.

A multi-disciplinary viewpoint will be emphasized. Conservators from
diverse specializations and backgrounds--paintings, objects, paper,
etc.; traditional and/or modern--are invited to interact, sharing
their knowledge and experiences, favorable and otherwise, with
colleagues.

The workshop, which will be held Wednesday, April 17 through
Saturday, April 20, 2002, from 9am-5pm is part of AIC's new "Master
Studies" series of workshops for mid-career conservators. The
program is supported by an endowment grant by The Andrew W. Mellon
Foundation and by the Foundation of the American Institute for
Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works. The course fee is $500
for AIC members and $700 for non-members. Enrollment is limited to
14, and the registration deadline is March 15, 2002.

Registration forms and information are available from the
