Identification of plastics

Jack Ogden mentioned Braun's excellent little book on the
identification of plastics--written by and for chemists, and several
other similar publications  exist. The best and most recent one is
edited by Quye and Williamson and includes a chapter on the
non-chemist's identification of plastics and also a review of all
the appropriate instrumental techniques. ISBN 1-901663-12 4
