Amber

I would be interested to hear if anybody has gained some experience
in preserving amber from oxidation, e.g. using oxygen scavengers. I
am also trying to gather recent information about possible
consolidative treatments for crumbling archeological amber
artifacts. Has anyone tried to use high molecular PEG (polyethylene
glycols)?
