New journal proposed

The University of Nevada Las Vegas Libraries is considering
establishing a peer reviewed e-journal focusing on preservation and
conservation of materials (non-electronic and non-digitized).  This
e-journal would be comparable to the
gone-but-hopefully-not-completely-forgotten Conservation
Administration News (CAN), and would be edited by Toby Murray, who
served as Managing Editor of CAN 1984-94.  Please respond directly
to Toby (tobym [at] unlv__edu) with your thoughts on the following (or
anything else that comes to mind):

    1.  Do you see a need for an e-journal focusing on preservation
        and conservation?

    2.  Would you subscribe to such a journal?

    3.  Would you submit articles for publication?

    4.  Would you be willing to serve on the editorial board and
        review submissions?

    5.  What is the meaning of life?  (Just kidding!)
