Cuban book artists

From: Jeanne Drewes <drewes>

For those of you who know the book art of Ediciones Vigia, a
cooperative publishing house in Matanzas, and wish to contribute to
their work, now is your chance. Several conservators are going to
Cuba in December to teach repair workshops and we will also have an
opportunity to visit the book artists of Ediciones Vigia and take
them materials. If you wish to contribute materials or artists
supplies to their publishing effort now is a good time. Materials
must be received by December 1. Please send supplies (paper,
colored pencils, acrylic paints, yarn, cloth, paste paper, marbled
paper) or equipment (scissors, small paint brushes, small hand
tools) to

    Bob Muens
    Bookbinding and Conservation
    513 Fleming Street, Suite 5

If you are unfamiliar with this group and curious about the book
artists you can see examples of their work at
