The EmmS Emergency Manual for Historic Buildings and Collections is
now available as an Interactive CD Rom

The CD features

    *   An interactive framework for recording information required
        to help reduce risks to buildings and collections
    *   Expandable boxes in which to type entries
    *   Ease of amendment and new clearer prompts and guidance notes
    *   Text in Word 97 format; suitable for both PCs and Apple Macs
    *   Risk reduction guidance and checklists
    *   Suggested contents for an emergency stockpile
    *   Places to record essential contact details, including local
        services, personnel, facilities and equipment
    *   A section for floorplans to be inserted, and a detailed key
        to standardise labelling on plans When completed, the manual
        can be printed and kept as a hard copy, making an
        accessible, easy to use and effective emergency plan.

The CD is published by the East Midlands Museums Service (United
Kingdom), and is available at 29.50 UK pounds sterling (including
VAT and postage and packing). Payment can be made either by cheque
or banker's money order in UK pounds sterling.
