Archaeological Field Conservator Kaman Kalehoyuk excavation The Kaman Kalehoyuk archaeological excavation in Central Turkey is seeking a Field Conservator for the 2002 season. The excavation is sponsored by the Middle Eastern Culture Center in Japan (MECCJ), which is a research institute based in Tokyo. The Field Conservator will manage an active conservation program including the supervision of interns and laboratory research projects, processing of artifacts, digital imaging, database documentation, and artifact condition surveys. Please see the IIC Copenhagen Congress post prints (1996) for more information about the laboratory. Applicants must have English speaking abilities, a degree in conservation or the equivalent, and a minimum of two seasons experience on an archaeological excavation.
