Ottawa Regional Group

I have accepted the responsibility to be the regional representative
of CAC for the Ottawa Region.  I have tried to make contacts at some
of the major institutions in the region.  So far, Anne Maheux has
agreed to be a liaison with the National Gallery of Canada and Mary
Murphy for the National Archives of Canada.  Sue Warren has agreed
to send me information about the Museum of Science and Technology,
when appropriate.  I haven't had much success with others.  So now I
am turning to the DistList to ask a few questions of my colleagues
in the National Capital Region:

Are you interested in helping to revive the ORG by providing me
periodically with information on any noteworthy/interesting
projects, institutional shenanigans, changes in personnel or policy,
regional concerns or developments or anything else that you think
might be of interest within your institution or private practice?

Are you interested in having meetings again?  Do you have something
that you would like to present at a meeting to your colleagues in
the region? Please let me know,
