Fiftieth Anniversary
Symposium on Scientific Research in the Field of Asian Art

To mark the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of scientific
research at the Freer Gallery of Art, the Department of Conservation
and Scientific Research will hold a symposium on September 27-29,
200l.  The theme of the program will be technical studies of Asian
art.

For those interested in attending the symposium, there will be no
conference fee but registration is necessary. Space is limited.
