GCI Conservation Guest Scholar program

Applications are being accepted through November 1, 2001, for the
2002-2003 Conservation Guest Scholar program at the Getty
Conservation Institute (GCI) in Los Angeles.  Grants will be awarded
to established scholars and professionals to pursue independent
scholarly research and innovative thinking while in residence for
three to nine months at the GCI.  With an emphasis on the visual
arts, the program seeks to encourage new ideas and perspectives in
areas of wide general interest to the international conservation
community.  Conservation Guest Scholar benefits include airfare,
housing, and a monthly stipend.
