and
Northwestern State University

The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training (NCPTT)
and Northwestern State University seek a physical scientist with a
masters or doctorate to fill a joint-research position for one year,
with option for renewal for a second year. Experience in
environmental science, analytical chemistry and/or preservation
preferred.  The incumbent will perform research at NCPTT focusing on
deposition of sulfur dioxide to natural and treated stone. We offer
the successful candidate a unique opportunity to apply science to
the preservation of cultural resources. Interested applicants should
