Preservation Scientist (DuPont Fellow) The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training (NCPTT) and Northwestern State University The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training (NCPTT) and Northwestern State University seek a physical scientist with a masters or doctorate to fill a joint-research position for one year, with option for renewal for a second year. Experience in environmental science, analytical chemistry and/or preservation preferred. The incumbent will perform research at NCPTT focusing on deposition of sulfur dioxide to natural and treated stone. We offer the successful candidate a unique opportunity to apply science to the preservation of cultural resources.
