My company Conservation By Design Limited can offer the SLIMLIGHT
lightsheet. The details are as follows:

SLIMLIGHT is the thinnest flexible light sheet available. At
less than 1 mm thick it equates to a 400g/m2 paper.

SLIMLIGHT is a flexible, durable and resistant
electroluminescent sheet which emits a homogeneous white light.
The white light source is flicker free and does not contain
harmful UV rays. The illumination element is welded between two
sheets of PCTEE (called "ACLAR" by the manufacturer. ACLAR is
resistant to oils and chemicals and can withstand contact with
common solvents. It also resists tapes and glues sticking to the
    surface.

    SLIMLIGHT offers the following advantages:

        * bound books need not be dismantled.

        * wall paper can be viewed and treated in situ.

        * SLIMLIGHT can be used to research and document
            watermarks.

SLIMLIGHT can stand temperatures of up to 60 deg. C (140 deg. F)
but does not heat up appreciably even after long periods of use.

SLIMLIGHT is waterproof and can therefore be used with aqueous
    treatment operations.

The SLIMLIGHT surface can be written upon with felt pens which
are suitable for writing on plastic.

    Technical Information:

The working life of the sheet is approximately 10, 000 hours.

The SLIMLIGHT is supplied with a multi use power supply suitable
for voltages from 84-245 volts and which includes 3 different
    plugs for world wide use

    Size: DIN A4 (210 x 297 mm, 8 1/4 x 11 11/16 inches)
    Packed weight: approximately 3 kilo
    Light density: ca. 120 cd/m2

Price: UKP 582. This price is exclusive of any relevant taxes and
    carriage costs.
