Getty Post-Graduate Conservation Internship in Paper Conservation Cornell University Library Through funding from the Getty Grant Program, the Cornell University Library, Department of Preservation and Conservation, Ithaca, New York, offers a twelve-months advanced internship in the conservation of works on paper beginning September 1, 2001. The selected intern will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of paper-based materials, in a modern, well-equipped conservation laboratory under the supervision of paper conservator Tatyana Petukhova. The intern will also participate in collection surveys and/or treatment projects involving the collections of the University Library and the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art. Applicants should be graduates of recognized conservation training programs or have equivalent experience, and have good English language skills. The stipend is based on an annual salary of $25,000 plus fringe benefits, three weeks vacation, one week research leave, and a travel allowance.
