Conservator Collections Services Canadian Museum of Nature GT-05 $48,820 to $53,374 per year Permanent Position Work location is in Aylmer, Quebec Duties: Works with CMN staff to develop and implement conservation standards for collection, development, maintenance and use. Actively treats specimens and artefacts at the NHB, VMMB or other venues where the Museum's collections are maintained or used. Actively participates in the implementation of conservation measures. Recommends specifications for equipment and materials for curation and care of specific collections. Trains staff on conservation issues and methods. Works with Exhibit and Facilities Management staff to ensure that conservation concerns are addressed in exhibits and in collection facilities, reviews specifications and drawings, and approves them from the conservation perspective.
