SLA spray

From: Flavia Perugini <fperugini>

While searching the archives for the collection at Mount Vernon I
came across some notes about insects attack. It appears that many
years ago artifacts used to be sprayed with an insecticide called
'SLA.SPRAY' as a preventive measure against pest infestation. Has
anyone ever heard of this insecticide? Any information would be
greatly appreciated.
