This intensive one day workshop will give you the tools you need to
make appropriate library binding decisions that balance your
preservation goals and your financial realities. It includes the
following modules:

    *   Book Structure and Modern Book Manufacturing Methods
    *   What Really Happens at the Bindery?
    *   Do the Right Binding Thing
    *   So I've Been to the Workshop... What Next?
    *   An Overview of Binding Contracts?

The workshop is designed for bindery clerks, heads of technical
services, serials, and/or binding department, and others in the
bindery prep unit.

Instructors are Tina Mason, Field Services Officer, SOLINET and J.C.
Noyes, Marketing Manager, Bridgeport National Bindery, Inc.

Cost is $95 SOLINET Members ($85 early registration, $120 late
registration), $105 associate users ($95 early bird, $130 late
registration) and $135 affiliate (non-members), ($125 early bird,
$160 late registration)
