Acrylic paint cross sections

I am seeking suggestions for resins/epoxies that set at room temp
and are suitable for making acrylic paint cross sections.  Also, if
anybody knows of particular problems encountered in making acrylic
paint cross-sections, can you offer advice on how to avoid them?
