The course, The Care and Conservation of Historic Floors, that was
due to take place in February has been postponed until 25 -28
November, 2001. Led by Jane Fawcett MBE, lecturer and historian,
this course, the first on this important subject, will consider the
history, maintenance and repair of ecclesiastical and secular floors

Conservation and Repair of Architectural Metalwork
March 6 - 9, 2001

Bill Martin, Senior Conservator, Building and Conservation and
Research at English Heritage, leads the course, with two principal
tutors, Geoffrey Wallis of DR Conservation and Russell Turner of
Eura Conservation, both experienced specialists in the field.  The
course will tackle methods of care, repair and protection of
structural metalwork, decorative features and statuary in historic
buildings, through a range of lectures, practical demonstrations and
exercises.
