I organized a seminar at Stanford Museum two years ago on the
subject of moving collections.  We had several people from a variety
of museums, historical societies, etc. give presentations and share
their experiences. The organization which has locally had the most
experience with different collections and institutions is Atthowe
Fine Arts.  I think you would receive a great value in consulting
with Scott Atthowe on your individual situation.
