Eraser

In Italy we are using Staedtler Mars Plastic 526 50  for drycleaning
of art on paper. Since a few months there is a new version SOFT 526
552 on the market. Has anybody had any negative information (like
migrating softeners) or should this eraser be safe for use on
valuable papers, too? Thank you for help.
