We are seeking several new members of staff to support this exciting redevelopment. The Destination Challenge Fund administered by re:source is supporting the following posts on temporary contracts for 12 months subject to confirmation of funding. Decorative Arts Conservator (1 temporary post) Scale 4 UKP13299-UKP14823 37 hours per week Frames Conservator (1 temporary post) Scale 4 UKP13299-UKP14823 37 hours per week Easel Paintings Conservator (1 temporary post) Scale 4 UKP13299-UKP14823 37 hours per week Each post holder will be responsible for undertaking remedial conservation in their relevant discipline, and will possess a degree and relevant conservation experience. Postholders will be responsible for meeting deadlines for conservation treatment, maintaining full written records of photographic documentation, liaising with other conservation staff, curators and advising on collections relating to their discipline. Candidates will also possess the ability to work individually and as part of a team. Framing and Glazing Technician (1 temporary post) Scale 3UKP12192-UKP13044 37 hours per week The successful candidate will have a carpentry/joinery qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, with the minimum of two years practical experience within a workshop environment. They will have a knowledge of fine art framing and glazing and be able to work with minimum supervision.
