Museum Specialist GS-9 Western Archeological and Conservation Center Open Date 12 Jan 12 2001 Closing Date: 2 Feb 2 2001 Division: Conservation Salary: $34,575 per year The Western Archeological and Conservation Center (WACC), National Park Service, Tucson, Arizona, is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Conservator. Duties may include conducting conservation condition surveys and treatments for archeological, ethnographic and historic objects, in addition to general lab operations. Some travel to National Parks may be required. The WACC services National Parks primarily in the west and southwest. A museum collections repository is located in the Center.
