Subject: Spanish language version of Calipr
A Spanish language version of Calipr, the preservation planning software developed by UC Berkeley Library Conservation Department, is now available at: <URL:http://sunsite.Berkeley.EDU/CALIPR/download2.html> The Spanish version was funded through a grant by the Mellon Foundation and directed by Jeanne Drewes, Johns Hopkins University Milton S. Eisenhower Library Preservation Department. Translation is by Alan Haley and Amparo R. de Torres and programming by Mike Moore. Both a Windows and DOS version are available in Spanish. The English version was developed with the support of the US Department of Education under the provisions of the Library Services and Construction Act, administered in California by the California State Library.
