This position is funded by the Queensland Museum using funds raised
through the Pandora Foundation.  The primary function of this
position is to ensure the objects from the Pandora are conserved in
an efficient and effective manner.  This position will be located at
the Museum of Tropical Queensland with the Pandora Project.

Primary duties include:  fieldwork and field treatment of items
during excavation, packing of items for transport, field monitoring
of items to assess their condition prior to excavation, planning
treatment programs, interventive treatment of items from the
Pandora, record keeping manually and on a database, preventative
conservation for treated objects, packing objects for transport to
the Museum of Tropical Queensland, monitoring treatments, research
into new treatments and materials analysis.

Appointment is initially for a 24 month period, with a base annual
salary between $31,908 and $40,835.  Enquires about the position can
